Peak #2066 - Measuring Magnifier - [10x, 15x, 20x] - Zoom

The variable focal distance with its different magnifications is an unbeatable feature. The lens system is composed of 8 lenses in 6 groups for zooming. This optical system provides sufficient brightness in each stage of magnification with minimal optical aberration.

A standard scale/reticule is included (picture 4), length 12 mm, scale/division in millimeters: 0.1 mm, and inches 0.005". The Peak Zoom Magnifier is delivered as in picture 3, complete in its box/pouch with a protective cap and a spectacle cloth.

To improve lighting on the object that is being inspected, Peak have designed a compatible battery-powered lighting device that can be purchased separately. It cuts out any other unwanted light, and with its handle still provides you with a good grip on the magnifier.

A timeless magnifier from Peak. Similar to a cameras objective, the black aluminum housing envelops the lens system giving it that strong, robust quality. You can smoothly focus in and out with its fine focus ring-nut, and, with a click-stop system, simply choose the desired available magnification: 10x, 15x or 20x which are shown in a small window.

In preparation, before using it for inspection, move the adjustment ring at the bottom of the lens body to select the ideal magnification in accordance with the purpose of inspection. Then, regulate the adjustment ring around the eyepiece/ocular so the scale can be viewed clearly.
